The Hills District is where I am based and where most of my work is. It runs from the established streets of Cherrybrook and West Pennant Hills through the newer estates around Box Hill and Stanhope Gardens, out to the acreage properties at Kenthurst, Dural, Galston and Arcadia.
That spread means very different electrical work from one job to the next. Acreage properties bring sheds, pumps, long sub-mains and outbuildings. The newer estates are mostly modern installations where the work is additions and lighting. The older pockets are where switchboard upgrades and rewiring come up most. Yes. Kenthurst, Dural, Annangrove, Galston, Arcadia and Middle Dural are mostly acreage, and that work has its own character — shed and workshop wiring, pump circuits, long runs out to outbuildings, and sub-mains that need sizing properly rather than guessing.
